Lessons & Sevices - From Our PGA Professional
I have 'come home' in every sense of the word to the town where I was born, raised and educated and back to Gillingham Golf Club, where I first started golf and joined as a Junior member on the 1st September 1972. To then become an Assistant Professional in February '74, for 6 years until 1980. Then on the 16th of July 2007, 27 years later, I was appointed Club Professional, a position which I undertake with great pride and honour.
Gillingham Golf Club is very much my spiritual 'home in golf', where I spent many happy hours practising (even in the dark!), honing the skills to improve my game.
I have gained vast experience and knowledge from the Clubs where I have worked, (Rochester & Cobham, Henley, Barnham Broom, Addington Court and Upchurch) skills which I bring with me to Gillingham for the benefit of the Members. My wide range of skills cover coaching to retail, club repairing to course management and a reasonably high standard in playing golf itself!
The greatest compliment once given to me, was being referred to as "the Professionals' Professional" by upholding the traditions, standards and with integrity this fine but frustrating game that is golf.

Shop open from 8am until 6pm, 7 days a week, earlier closing in winter months. Supplying all your golfing needs from balls & tees bags & trolleys to clubs and clothing.
